Welcome to the Grove Keepers Webring
What is a webring? A webring is a collection of websites linked to each other in a ring. You can surf from one site on the webring to the next by clicking the links in the webring widget.
Grove Keepers Webring is intended for people who are, and websites about, practicing a nature faith. Such religions include, but are not limited to, various pre-Christian "pagan" religions (such as Hellenic, Kemetic, Roman, Mesopotamian, Celtic, Finnish, Baltic, Norse), Shamanism, Druidry, Asatru, Wicca and folk belief based witchcraft, and various indigenous religions.
Typically these faiths include either the veneration of nature as sacred, seeing deities as personifications of natural forces (including naturalism or physiolatry), or seeing deities as controlling natural forces. Naturalistic paganism, where one practices pagan rituals but does not worship any deities, is also accepted here. Some of these religions are described as animist, some partially, others not at all. Another related term is nature religion.
The name of the webring is based on the idea that the members of the ring are webkeepers (admins of websites), while sacred groves are important in nature-based religions around the globe.
Rules for joining
- Fit the definition of who this ring is intended for, lol.
- Here, we support equal human rights for all people and peoples. Therefore, anything Nazi, far-right or "völkisch" is not allowed.
- Some are reconstructionists, some eclectics, while some continue unbroken traditions. This is not very relevant as much as this ring is considered.
- Be mindful that some traditions, especially of indigenous groups, are closed and not free for outsiders to participate.
- You do not have to have any deity that you are devoted to or "work with".
